National Estate Planning Awareness Week is October 16 – 22, 2023!

October 17, 2023 in News

National Estate Planning Awareness Week is an annual event, established in the United States in 2008, dedicated to promoting the understanding and importance of estate planning. The purpose is to help consumers understand estate planning and its need, along with how best to create a qualified team of professionals to assist in the planning process. During this time, Attorneys, certified public accountants, life insurance underwriters, trust representatives, and financial planners around the country are encouraged to spread the word about the significance of having a well-crafted estate plan and the consequences of not having an estate plan or if an estate plan is outdated.

According to the National Association of Estate Planners & Counsels, over half of Americans – 56% – do not have an up-to-date estate plan.

The Elder Law Center of Kirson & Fuller and its Attorneys encourage you to ensure that you have an estate plan in place that will meet your needs as you grow older, and will meet your wishes and the needs of your family after you pass away. Our experienced attorneys can assist and advise you if you need an estate plan or if your exiting estate plan could use review and updating.
